Syncing datasources
Pulls an app’s current sheets, objects, and fields into KPImailer, so reports and templates can use them and reflect any changes made in Qlik since the last sync.
- To sync one app, select the Sync icon in its row’s Actions column.
- To sync several at once, check their boxes with Select all visible apps or individually, then use the bulk sync action.
- To resync everything, select Refresh All at the top of the page.
After a sync, the app’s Status updates to Synced and Last Synced shows when it ran.
Worked example
Section titled “Worked example”A Qlik developer adds two new sheets to a published app and renames a measure. Back in KPImailer, an administrator finds that app in Repository and selects Sync on its row; once it completes, the new sheets and the renamed measure are available the next time someone opens the report editor or designs an Excel template against that app.
