Scope & filter overrides
Gives a single inserted Qlik object its own selections - the same idea as the Filters tab on a report, but scoped to one object in the template instead of the whole thing.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”By default, every Qlik object placed in a template inherits whatever filters and date range the report applies when it sends. An override replaces that, for one object, with its own fixed selections - useful when one chart on the sheet needs to show something different from the rest of the workbook.
Worked example
Section titled “Worked example”A monthly close workbook bursts by Region, so most objects on each sheet correctly show only that region’s data. One reference chart, “Company-wide trend”, should always show every region for comparison regardless of which sheet copy it’s on - it gets a scope override that clears the inherited region filter, so it keeps showing company-wide data on every repeated sheet.
